Friends of the Chicago River seeks applicants for our Chicago River Blue Awards!

Friends of the Chicago River is seeking developers, designers, municipalities and other applicants for its sixth annual Chicago River Blue Awards, which honor "creative approaches to design and implementations that are sensitive to the Chicago River."

Past Chicago River Blue Award receipients include the Chicago Riverwalk and the boathouse at Ping Tom Memorial Park (shown above).

Applications for the awards are due on April 3.
