Friends Celebrates new Research and Innovation Hub of Partner Mars Wrigley

Friends Executive Director Margaret Frisbie (sixth from right) was part of the festivities at the grand opening of Mars Wrigley’s new Global Research and Innovation Hub with the global president of Mars Snacking, Andrew Clarke, and Chicago Vice Deputy Mayor for Government Affairs Sydney Holman, among other dignitaries.

Adjacent to Mars Wrigley’s Global HQ, the new facility is home to their “global chocolate innovations” and embodies Mars Wrigley’s Net Zero action plan which includes targets for 100% renewable energy use and supply chain sustainability.

Mars Wrigley has been a partner with Friends for decades and helped establish our ever expanding Litter Free Chicago-Calumet River system program.
