Special Triple Your Dollar Match Campaign
As part of our Earth Month activities, Friends of the Chicago River is kicking off a special triple match donation campaign today thanks to the incredible generosity of Otter Society Members Michael and Kim Moran, and Larry and Denise Kaplan.
From April 19 through April 30, your gift will be TRIPLED, up to $20,000.
That means:
- $10 becomes $30
- $50 becomes $150
- $300 becomes $900
Every dollar goes directly toward our work to protect and restore the 156-mile Chicago-Calumet River system for all people, water, and wildlife.
As the climate crisis intensifies, the Clean Water Act is weakened, and environmental protections face unprecedented rollbacks from Washington, the river system, its wildlife, and the communities that rely on it are at increasing risk.
